Community Rules
1. About these rules
1.1. These Community Rules set out how you must behave when you take part in the Reloader community, and what we do when someone breaks them. They replace our earlier Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use and Content Moderation pages.
1.2. These rules apply in the following places (together, the "Community Spaces"):
- (a) the chat room and private messages on reloader.gg;
- (b) the chat room and private messages on every alliance site hosted by Reloader (for example
<name>.reloader.gg); - (c) Reloader's Telegram groups, including any group linked to a site chat room (see Section 4);
- (d) Discord servers run by Reloader, and any Discord server where a Reloader bot operates, including bots we run for alliances.
1.3. If you have a Reloader account, these rules form part of our Terms and Conditions. If these rules and the Terms and Conditions conflict, the Terms and Conditions prevail.
1.4. People without a Reloader account also take part in our Discord servers and Telegram groups. These rules apply to anyone who takes part in a Community Space, whether or not they hold a Reloader account. For people without an account, following these rules is the condition for taking part, and we enforce them by moderating messages and participation.
1.5. These rules may be translated. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version prevails.
2. General conduct
2.1. In every Community Space, you must not:
- (a) harass, bully, threaten or intimidate anyone;
- (b) post hate speech, or attack anyone because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics;
- (c) threaten or encourage violence or self-harm;
- (d) publish or threaten to publish another person's personal data, such as their real name, address, phone number, email address, photos, account details or location ("doxxing"), or share another person's private messages without their consent;
- (e) post illegal content, or content that promotes illegal activity;
- (f) post sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises minors;
- (g) encourage anyone under 18, or anyone in a place where our services are not available, to use our gambling services;
- (h) post spam, repeat the same message, flood a chat, or run scams, phishing or fake giveaways;
- (i) impersonate another person, including Reloader staff, alliance staff, moderators or bots;
- (j) advertise other websites, services, gambling operators, channels or servers, or post referral, promo or affiliate links or codes, unless we have allowed it;
- (k) encourage problem gambling, for example by pressuring others to gamble, telling them to chase losses, promising guaranteed wins, or urging someone who has self-excluded or set a limit to get around it;
- (l) share, sell or promote cheats, bots, scripts, exploits or other tools that give an unfair advantage in any game, tournament, promotion or leaderboard, or arrange match-fixing;
- (m) buy, sell, rent, share or trade accounts, or offer to do so;
- (n) ask anyone for their login codes, passwords or wallet keys.
2.2. Do not share your own login codes, passwords or wallet keys with anyone.
2.3. Moderators may remove content that breaks these rules, or that they reasonably consider harmful to the community, even if it is not listed above.
3. Site chat
3.1. Each site has one public chat room. The same room appears on the site's home page, stream page, tournament pages and mobile chat.
3.2. Site chat is public. Anyone visiting the site can read it, including visitors who are not logged in. You must be logged in to post. If your account is blocked, suspended or self-excluded, you cannot post.
3.3. A site may turn its chat off, and may require you to follow the site, for a set number of hours, before you can post.
3.4. Limits on posting:
- (a) a message can be up to 500 characters;
- (b) you can post up to 10 messages in any 60 seconds;
- (c) a site may switch on slow mode, which sets a minimum gap between your messages, as configured by the site (by default, 3 seconds). Moderators are not subject to slow mode;
- (d) if a limit applies, your message is not posted and you are told how long to wait.
3.5. Links:
- (a) accounts younger than the minimum age set by the site cannot post links (by default, accounts younger than 24 hours). Moderators are not subject to this limit;
- (b) links to domains on a blocked list cannot be posted by anyone. The list is made up of a list we set for every site and a list set by each site. Blocking a domain also blocks its subdomains.
3.6. Moderation. The site's owner and administrators, and Reloader staff, moderate each site's chat room. They can:
- (a) delete any message;
- (b) mute the author of a message for 10 minutes, 1 hour or 24 hours, or ban the author from posting until the ban is lifted.
A mute or ban set on a site applies to that site's chat room. Moderators cannot mute the site owner. You can delete your own messages.
3.7. Deleted messages are removed from view in the chat room. How long we keep chat messages is explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. Telegram groups linked to site chat
4.1. A site's chat room may be linked to a Telegram group. While a link is active:
- (a) messages posted in the Telegram group appear in the site chat room, which is public (see Section 3.2). They show the sender's Telegram display name (their first and last name, or their @username if no name is set) and a Telegram label, with a link to the message in the Telegram group. Messages posted anonymously by a group administrator, or forwarded from a linked Telegram channel, show the group's or channel's name instead;
- (b) messages posted in the site chat room are sent to the Telegram group as "username: message", using your Reloader username.
4.2. From Telegram to the site: text is shown up to 500 characters; photos, videos, stickers, files and other media are shown as a placeholder (for example "[photo]") with any caption; links to blocked domains are replaced with "[link removed]"; messages that start with "/" are not shown; and edits made in Telegram are not carried over.
4.3. From the site to Telegram: replies are sent as replies where possible, and several messages may be combined into one Telegram message when the chat is busy. We do not guarantee that every message is relayed.
4.4. Moderation across the link:
- (a) deleting a message on the site does not remove a copy that has already been sent to Telegram;
- (b) muting or banning a Telegram user on the site stops their new Telegram messages from appearing on the site. It does not remove them from the Telegram group, and does not remove their earlier messages from Telegram;
- (c) the Telegram group is moderated by its own administrators, using Telegram's tools.
4.5. If you do not want your Telegram name and messages to appear on a Reloader site, do not post in a Telegram group that is linked to site chat.
5. Private messages
5.1. Logged-in players can send private messages to other players. Private messages belong to your account, not to a single site, so the same conversations appear on reloader.gg and on every alliance site. Private messages are not sent to Telegram or Discord.
5.2. Who can message you. You choose who can message you in your profile privacy settings: anyone, friends only, or nobody. A player who is not allowed to message you is not told which setting you chose.
5.3. Limits on sending:
- (a) an account younger than 24 hours cannot start a new conversation or send links;
- (b) you can start up to 10 new conversations with players who are not your friends in any 24 hours;
- (c) messages can be up to 2,000 characters;
- (d) further limits apply to how many messages you can send per minute, per conversation and per day, to repeated identical messages, and to messages containing links;
- (e) links to domains on our blocked list cannot be sent.
5.4. You cannot edit or delete a private message after it is sent.
5.5. Blocking. You can block another player. While either of you has blocked the other, neither of you can message the other and the conversation is hidden from both of you. You can unblock at any time.
5.6. Reporting. You can report a single message, or report a conversation, from the conversation view. A report on a conversation is a report on the other player's latest message. You choose a reason: harassment, spam, scam, sexual content or other. You can report a message after you have blocked its sender. You can report each message once.
5.7. What staff can see. When you report, we copy the reported message and up to 10 earlier messages in that conversation, from both sides, into the report. Reloader staff review reports using that copy only. Our admin tools do not let staff read private conversations, or any part of a conversation that is not included in a report.
5.8. Outcomes of a report. Staff may dismiss the report, stop the reported player from sending private messages for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or until lifted, or block the reported player's account.
5.9. Retention. Private messages are deleted automatically 180 days after they were sent. A report is kept while it is open, and is deleted 90 days after it is resolved.
6. Reporting other problems
6.1. Site chat has no report button. To report a message in site chat, or any other breach of these rules on a Reloader site, open a support ticket from the Support page while logged in. Include the site, the username, the approximate time and what happened.
6.2. In a Discord server or Telegram group, contact that server's or group's moderators. If you have a Reloader account, you can also open a support ticket.
6.3. Do not use reports to harass others. Making false or abusive reports is itself a breach of these rules.
7. Enforcement
7.1. If you break these rules, we or the relevant moderators may take one or more of these actions, in any order:
- (a) delete or hide your messages;
- (b) mute or ban you from a site chat room;
- (c) stop you from sending private messages;
- (d) remove you from, or restrict you in, a Discord server or Telegram group;
- (e) remove or adjust your engagement points, or exclude you from earning them;
- (f) block, suspend or close your Reloader account, and take any other step, as set out in the Terms and Conditions.
7.2. We are not required to warn you before we act. The action we take depends on how serious the breach is, whether it has happened before, and the risk to others.
7.3. Where content may involve a crime or a risk to someone's safety, we may keep it and report it to the relevant authorities.
7.4. If you think a moderation decision on a Reloader site was wrong, you can open a support ticket.
8. Discord engagement points and voice points
8.1. Some Reloader Discord servers run an engagement leaderboard. A Reloader bot awards points for activity in the server. Each server sets its own point values and settings, so the values below are "as configured" for that server. The bot's welcome message shows the server's current values.
8.2. How points are earned:
- (a) Messages: a set number of points for a message, at most once per cooldown window (by default, 60 seconds). Messages that start with "!" (bot commands) earn nothing. A message with an attachment earns extra image points. If you delete a message, the points it earned are removed.
- (b) Reactions: a set number of points for reacting to a message, once per message, subject to the same cooldown window. Reacting to your own message earns nothing, only messages posted in the current cycle count, and reactions in poll channels earn nothing. If you remove all your reactions from a message, the points are removed.
- (c) Polls: a set number of points for voting in a poll posted in the server's poll channels, once per poll.
- (d) Daily bonus: a set number of points for the daily command, once per UTC day.
- (e) Social claims: where offered, a one-time claim for following our Telegram or X account.
- (f) Voice: points for each whole minute you spend in an eligible voice channel (see 8.3).
8.3. Voice points. You earn voice points only while all of these are true:
- (a) you are in a voice channel that the server has listed as earning points (if the server has not listed any channels, every voice channel earns);
- (b) the channel has at least the minimum number of counted members, including you, as configured (by default, 3);
- (c) you are counted yourself: bots, members in the server's AFK channel and deafened members (self-deafened or server-deafened) are not counted and do not earn. Muted members are counted.
Voice time is credited in whole minutes, in batches (by default, every 5 minutes), at the configured points per minute. When you stop being eligible, your whole minutes are credited at that moment and any part-minute is dropped. Time can go uncredited if the bot is interrupted.
8.4. Who does not earn. Server team members and members on the server's points blacklist do not earn points. They still count towards the voice-channel minimum.
8.5. Cycles. The leaderboard runs in cycles. Points reset to zero at the end of each cycle, at the day and time (UTC) set by the server (by default for a new server, Sunday 23:59 UTC). Staff may end a cycle early. If they do, the cycle either ends with the standings final at that moment, or is voided, in which case nobody wins it.
8.6. The winner. The #1 finisher of a cycle is announced. We may stop the #1 finisher from earning points for a number of following cycles, as configured (by default, 4). A voided cycle does not count as a win.
8.7. No prize. Engagement points are a ranking score only. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred or withdrawn. The leaderboard pays no prize unless a specific promotion that we publish says otherwise, and then only on that promotion's terms.
8.8. Public display. Where a Reloader site shows a Discord leaderboard, it shows participants' Discord usernames and points, including people who do not have a Reloader account.
8.9. Fair play. You must not use bots, self-bots, scripts, alternate accounts or coordinated activity to earn points, sit in voice channels only to collect points, or post low-effort messages to farm points. Automated tools may flag rapid posting to staff. Staff may adjust or remove points, add you to the points blacklist or remove you from the leaderboard if they believe points were earned unfairly.
9. Direct messages from Reloader Discord bots
9.1. Reloader Discord bots may send you direct messages, for example a welcome message when you join a server, tournament notices, leaderboard results and announcements. Each of these messages includes a line telling you how to unsubscribe (for example, "Reply STOP to unsubscribe").
9.2. To stop them, reply STOP to any Reloader Discord bot. The word must be the first word of your reply. "unsubscribe", "unsub", "opt out", "no more" and "СТОП" also work. Once your request is recorded, the bot confirms it. After that, no Reloader Discord bot will send you direct messages, including tournament notices and announcements. Check the website for tournament updates instead.
9.3. To start receiving them again, reply START (or "resume" or "старт") to a Reloader Discord bot.
9.4. Opting out does not stop a bot from answering in a conversation that you start, for example with a confirmation or an acknowledgement of your message.
10. Changes to these rules
10.1. We may change these rules at any time. The version published on this page applies from the date shown at the top. If you keep taking part in a Community Space after a change, the changed rules apply to you.
